Boxing fans hopeful of watching former world champions Joseph Agbeko and Joshua Clottey fight on the same bill in Accra this weekend may have to wait a little longer after the fight promoters, Fresh King Entertainment (FKE) and Box Office Sports Promotions (FKE), announced the postponement of the April 29 Legendary Night Boxing" bill.

The two former IBF world champions were to headline the bill scheduled for the Accra Sports Stadium, with middleweight Clottey and bantamweight Agbeko set to fight Brazilian Anderson Clayton and Filipino brawler Cris Alfante respectively in non-title bouts.

According to a press statement jointly signed by Eben Noye of FKE and Alex Ntiamoah-Boakye of BOSP, the two promotional outfits are working on a new date and further details will be announced in due course.

Braimah Kamoko aka Bukom Banku and Ayitey Powers will share the same ring again next month when Landmark Promotions and Management stage a mega boxing show in Keta as part of the annual Hogbetsotso festival of the chiefs and people of the Anlo.

Commey is back in action following an impressive Las Vegas debut that saw the Ghanaian power-puncher claim the IBF Intercontinental title with an eighth-round TKO win over Bahodir Mamadjonov. Eager to build on this success, the current Commonwealth king is hard at work preparing for his next challenge.
