Swansea City are ready to listen to offers for star man Andre Ayew, despite the positive impact of the Ghana midfielder since arriving from French giants Marseille last summer.

The Swans are set for a post-season rebuild in a bid to avoid the struggles that have undermined their current Premier League campaign.

And it is thought the club are keen to ship-on several squad regulars as they seek to freshen up the Liberty Stadium ranks and return to the spirit and style that has underpinned previous success at the top-level.

Amir Khan has raised the prospect of an all-British fight against Kell Brook, as his hopes of a match with legendary fighter Manny Pacquiao diminish.

The 28-year-old from Bolton had hoped to be Pacquiao's final opponent.

"It just seems Pacquiao doesn't want to fight me," he told BBC Sport, naming Danny Garcia, Lamont Peterson and Sheffield's Brook, 29, as alternatives.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has been given a suspended one-match stadium ban and fined £50,000 by the Football Association for comments made about match officials.

Mourinho had claimed officials were "afraid" to award his team penalties after Robert Madley denied Chelsea a spot-kick in a 3-1 loss to Southampton.

Sedgefield boxer Bradley Saunders says ongoing problems with his hands have forced him to consider retiring.

Saunders lost his unbeaten professional record when he was disqualified for headbutting Renald Garrido last month during a bout in which he ruptured ligaments and tendons in both fists.

Banned substances were found in more than 3,000 samples out of 283,304 tests carried out worldwide last year, World Anti-Doping Agency figures  reveal.

However, that represented a fall, across all sports, of more than 10%, despite an increase in the number of tests carried out.

J.E Sarpong, head coach of Ebusua Dwarfs says Baba Rahman's move to Chelsea was rushed by Aasburg, adding he should have matured enough at the Bundesliga outfit before that decision.

Chelsea signed Baba Rahman for an amount of 21 million euros, but is yet to play for the English champions in the EPL.

And according to J.E Sarpong, now that Chelsea is struggling to find their feet, Jose Mourinho will not experiment with an inexperienced player, unless Baba Rahman plays above himself.

BMX Olympic test event postponed

A BMX test event for next year's Rio Olympics was postponed until Sunday after riders refused to take part due to safety concerns.

The course was designed by Tom Ritzenthaler, who was responsible for the last two Olympic tracks in Beijing and London.

Unified world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko has agreed to face undefeated Briton Tyson Fury in Dusseldorf on October 24.

Klitschko will put his WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO titles on the line against Fury, who boasts an unblemished record from 24 professional contests with 18 knockouts.

The outspoken 26-year-old has regularly spoken of his desire to dethrone Klitschko and is confident in doing so, although the veteran Ukrainian will enter the bout as a strong favourite.
