Former Managing Director of Hearts of Oak, Vincent Sowah Odotei is set to replace Honourable Isaac Kwame Asiamah at the Youth and Sports Ministry, according to reports.
The Member of Parliament for La Dadekotopon is not new to the sport industry having served at Kumasi King Faisal as Chief Executive.
He has failed twice in a bid to become the Ghana Football Association President.
The Deputy Minister of Communication will be heading to the Sports Ministry that has been embroiled in alleged financial malfeasance under current Minister Honourable Isaac Kwame Asiamah.
Honourable Isaac Asiamah has been accused by the sacked Deputy Chief Executive of the National Youth Authority, Bright Acheampong for having a hand in the alleged contracts awarded without procurement review.
Reports also indicate that, the top hierarchy of the sitting government is not happy with the happenings at the Sports Ministry since the 2019 AFCON debacle in Egypt where fans were airlifted, housed in expensive hotels with costly delicacies without accountability.
The Ministerial reshuffle could come as a surprise as many believe he is discharging his duties equitably.
He is expected to head to a different Ministry according to reports.
