Head coach of Ebusua Dwarfs, James Kuuku Dadzie has praised his side’s show of grit against Hearts of Oak at the Cape Coast Stadium.
The Crabs nearly snatched three home points from the title contenders in matchday 32 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
Left-back, Dennis Korsah notched home Dwarfs opener with an 84th-minute free-kick.
Kwadwo Obeng Junior however left it late to equalize with a left-footed strike in added time.
Coach Dadzie, who was appointed before the week 29 fixture, believes his team showed resilience.
“The game was very exciting, very competitive, the two teams played their hearts out.
“I think we should have won the game but that is football.
“Matching Hearts of Oak is a plus for us and that will motivate us to go to Techiman to something better.” Kuuku Dadzie said.
Dwarfs have now gathered 38 points from 32 matches. They lie 14th on the league table with two matches to wrap up the season.
Dwarfs need to pick a point or three in their week 33 away clash against King Faisal if they must keep their survival hopes alive.
The penultimate clash at the Ohene Ameyaw Park will be difficult as Eleven Wonders are equally in the relegation battle and will need points to survive.
